How to get info from excel to tax1099
Follow these steps to start the import process using Excel:
- Log into your Tax1099 account
- Navigate to the menu on the left > select “Import” > “Excel Spreadsheet”
- Select the form you would like to import to
- Download the template using CSV or Excel (Excel recommended)
- Open the Excel template > red columns is what’s required
- Fill in the template with the data
- Select the file you created > click “Next”
- Next page will show a form with the data you entered into it
- Click “Next”
- The next page will review the form and look for invalid information
- Solve any recipients with red or yellow dots
- You may download the errors by clicking “Download Error List”
- Once all recipients have a green dot > click “Select All” > “Next”
- On the next page you may select the delivery type for the forms, TIN matching, and State filing
- Once completed > click “Next”
- You’ll be navigated to the payment screen
- Enter your payment details
- A confirmation and payment receipt will be emailed to you
