Updates to Tax1099 for the 2017 eFiling Season

We’re excited to announce new updates to our platform for the 2017 eFiling season. Take a look to see how we’ve made eFiling even faster for you.
When opening your Tax1099 account this year, the first thing you will see is our new dashboard.

In the top right corner of the page, you’ll find these options, from left to right: Log out button, Settings, Support Links, and Additional Options. The additional options icon is where you will find last year’s, “What would you like to do” section. Here’s where you’ll find links to starting a new filing, generating your summary 1096 form, and more.

Under the settings button, you’ll find your account information, events, two-factor authentication, and an option to upgrade your profile. With an Enterprise account, you’ll have access to workflow management and user right controls. You’ll also receive 250 TIN matches.

Under the Support button, you’ll find links to our Knowledge Base. Search our Knowledge Base for articles on anything from creating new forms to printing forms after you’ve eFiled. We’ve updated the articles with screen shots to show you exactly what you need to do, step by step.

In the main part of the Dashboard, you’ll see a chart showing your forms and form statuses. Search for a form by TIN, or by entering part of the name on the form. You can filter forms by status, and/or by filing year as well.

Form statuses include: not submitted, submitted, rejected, approved, blocked, resubmit.
Other information about each form will also be visible from the chart. At a glance, you’ll be able to see the Date, TIN, Name, Amount, and more. The new dashboard is now your go-to for checking on forms you’ve filed, and forms that are in progress still.

We know that having to adjust to updates during tax season can be stressful. Just so you know: we’ve kept the left sidebar as it was during last year’s filing. Your Forms tab, People tab, Import tab, and more are still available.
