  • What is TIN Match?
  • TIN Match allows you to validate the Recipient Name and TIN with IRS records. The IRS recommends validating this information before paying vendors to ensure that you have the correct data.
  • How can I turn on Two-Factor Authentication for my Tax1099.com account?
  • Login and then click on Settings in the top right corner and select Two-Factor Authentication form the drop down. Click on Start Set Up Now and follow the instructions.

  • If no vendors come over to Tax1099, what should we check?
  • Vendors might have not met 1099 threshold limit. To verify pull 1099 summary report. Check in report whether vendor is showing or not. Verify what your thresholds are set to in the 1099 Wizard in QuickBooks Desktop. Also, confirm that you have the 1099-eligible box checked in the vendor's record.
