Don\u2019t worry, you can still <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tax1099.com\/1099-forms\/efile-1099-misc-form\">eFile 1099-MISC<\/a> and 1099-NEC forms directly from QuickBooks Desktop using Tax1099&#8217;s QBD Plugin.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Tax1099.com offers a plugin to connect <a href=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/learn-support\/en-us\/set-up-e-file\/1099-e-file-quickbooks-desktop-setup-troubleshooting-faqs\/00\/209388\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"QuickBooks Desktop (opens in a new tab)\">QuickBooks Desktop<\/a> to our Tax1099 software. This plugin adds a menu item to the \u201cCompany\u201d menu and allows you to import your 1099-MISC and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tax1099.com\/1099-forms\/efile-form-1099-nec\">1099-NEC<\/a> data.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How To Install The QBD Plugin<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>First, you need to add the plugin to your QuickBooks Menu.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Select Imports menu in tax1099 &gt; choose option for QuickBooks Desktop<\/li>\r\n<li>Follow the instructions in the zip file<\/li>\r\n<li>Close all QuickBooks-related programs or files before installing the plugin<\/li>\r\n<li>Temporarily disable your antivirus\/firewall<\/li>\r\n<li>Right-click QuickBooks to run as an administrator<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>You may need to work with your hosting provider (Cloud 9, Right Networks, InsynQ, NovelASPect, etc.) These hosting providers control the installation process.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The first time you open a company file after the install, QuickBooks will ask you\u2019d like grant access to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tax1099.com\/\">Tax1099.com<\/a>. This allows Tax1099.com to access information like taxpayer identification numbers.
